This was the second time I ordered a teacher box as the children were so excited to find their new friend. Their friend/animal sits on their desk and if anyone is too loud we remind them that some animals are sensitive to sound. We have eliminated show and tell as instead they come to the front of the class say which animal they picked, and it's new name. Every Friday since they have to come to the front and tell us one fun fact about their animal. I had ordered the second box so children don't have the same animal and to get ready for Summer School. As I emailed you I have noticed them using their animal during work time to stay calm and focused. I have shared my positive results with other teachers in hopes they will buy a box or two for their students. Still on the lookout for an orange octopus.
